Finish 2020 On a High Note

Home » Finish 2020 On a High Note

What a tumultuous year we have experienced in 2020!

Cast your mind back to a year ago.

Imagine then that someone had suggested that in a few months we would all be confined to our homes for an extended period?

Oh, and then we would spend at least the rest of the year running around with face masks on! By the way, forget about hugging, friendly backslapping and the customary handshake – that would be strictly taboo.

My guess is you would have burst out laughing. Either that, or questioned their mental health … or perhaps even written them off as part of some weird doomsday cult.

Reality redefined

And yet, here we are!

Reality as we know it has been completely redefined.

Most challenging year

Like me, you’ve probably experienced one of the most challenging – if not the most challenging – years of your life. And you’re probably tired and desperate for a break and some down time, before facing up to whatever 2021 may have in store.

Treat yourself

Unfortunately we can’t press a reset button and wipe the past year from our lives. But we can at least finish this crazy year on a high note.

I’m not going to present you with a big read today. I’m simply going to offer you a suggestion.

Treat yourself to one or more sessions with a life coach!

If you’ve never before experienced the power of life coaching (or even if you have) why not throw caution and any scepticism to the wind, and give it a try.

It doesn’t have to cost you anything

The best part about my suggestion, is that you don’t need to part with any of your hard earned money to pay for this treat!

Hit the ground running in 2021

But don’t let it wait for the New Year.

I know it’s tempting to put everything off to the New Year. Psychologically it seems justified, given all that we’ve been through in 2020.

But I really want you to hit the ground running in 2021!

And to do so I urge you to do a little preparation. Find time in the next couple of weeks to book a life coaching session.

At the very least, it will give you food for thought as you head into the holiday season. At best, it will clear your head, open your mind and supercharge your excitement levels!

Go on, claim your treat!

Here’s two ways you can claim your treat:

  1. Professional coaching

The great majority of New Insights trained and certified coaches will offer you a no obligation complimentary session to give you a taste of what is possible.

We’ve trained many hundreds of coaches over the years and we’d happily recommend all of them … but they are all independent operators and we just don’t have a simple way to connect you with all of them.

However, a number of coaches have chosen to subscribe to one of our Life Coach Directories and this is where I would suggest you go to find the coach that’s perfect for you. I’ll provide you with the links at the bottom of this post.

  1. Practice Coaching

All New Insights trainee life coaches are required to do extensive practical work that involves conducting practice coaching sessions with volunteer clients.

Trainees need volunteers, so if you’re looking to experience one – or even a full programme of sessions – for no monetary outlay, then volunteering as a client is a great option.

We have a free life coaching page on our websites where you can connect with trainee coaches by offering your services as a volunteer. The links are provided below.

  1. Thanks for your illuminating blogs through the challenging year that has been 2020, Bill. I’ve not always read every one, though certainly found very helpful and inspiring those I have read. I wish you, your family, and the coaching community a safe and blessed festive season, and a New Year that is filled with good health and wonderful opportunities.

  2. What an irresistible offer, Bill. Preparation is key. Thank you for your proactive approach to our well-being for 2021. I cannot think of a better way in which to enter the New Year.

    1. Thank you Karen.

It is my hope that all of our COVID-fatigued readers will take up the opportunity while it is fresh in mind. Some things are best actioned when the thought – or opportunity – first comes to mind!
