In every aspect of your life, your attitude plays a big role. If you want to get ahead and be consistently happy and content, then you have to make your attitude your ally.
Your attitude reflects in everything you do and everything that happens to you. Inherent in the Law of Attraction is the notion that whatever you put out comes back to you.

How do you make your attitude your ally?
It is all about believing in the idea that your attitude affects your life and what happens to you.
Make Attitude Your Ally (Continued)
Change your way of thinking
If you struggle with believing that if you think positively then positive things will happen, then the first step is to change your way of thinking.
You have to have faith in the idea that a positive attitude will deliver positive results. Start looking for proof that this is the case. It shouldn\’t be too hard to find.
Do an experiment
There is no better proof of something than experiencing it firsthand. Do an experiment. Choose a day when you will commit to keeping an authentic positive attitude throughout the day. No matter how hard you find it, stick it out in the interests of your experiment.
Now, take notice of how others react to you and the little things that happen during the day.
Are people friendlier than normal? Are they more willing to help you out than usual? What do you notice about your day that is different? Does your positive attitude influence your life in any way? How does it feel?
If you\’re not totally convinced after one day give the experiment another day to run.
Put the idea into play
Once you have convinced yourself that your positive attitude really does have a positive influence on your life, then you can begin to put the idea of making your attitude your ally into play.
Keep up your positive attitude and slowly let it become a natural part of the way you are. Go with the flow and allow the positive influence to lead you to good things as it inevitably will.
Keep a diary of how your life changes.
Be guided by positive thoughts
Make a real effort to start turning all your thoughts and ideas into positive thoughts and ideas. Take something that may previously have made you feel depressed or disappointed and try to look for a new and more positive perspective on it. Push the negativity out of your head and be guided by positive thoughts.
When you find your thoughts drifting towards the negative, make a conscious effort to turn them around. In this way you will slowly train yourself to find the positive in any situation. That\’s what is meant by having a positive attitude.
More than the mind
Making your attitude your ally should incorporate your ideas, the way you think, your body language, actions and even your goals.
Don\’t stop with training your mind. Train your body as well. Your body language says a lot about you and can inform others about your attitude and personality.
Positive body language is when your body is \’open\’ and relaxed. Make a habit of making eye contact with people when you talk with them. Don\’t close your body off to others by averting their eyes or crossing your arms.
A simple smile
A simple smile is a powerful manifestation of a positive attitude as well as being a help in maintaining that attitude. It\’s really difficult not to feel good when you smile!
Empowering goals
Now that mind and body are conditioned to a positive attitude, align your actions and behaviours by setting positive and empowering goals.
Great goals, coupled with a positive attitude, will set you on track to achieve the life you truly want.
This is when attitude has become your strongest ally.
I really like everything about life coaching, I’d really like to be one.
Take me step by step how to go about in this venture.

Thank You Bill.
This reminds me of the Power that we have to choose.
I suppose one of the best things, we as coaches, can do for a client is for him/her to acknowledge and embody that they have CHOICE.

Thanks for this Bill. We probably all need reminding of this even if we generally keep a positive attitude.
If we want our car to keep running smoothly and efficiently for a long time it needs a tune up on a regular basis.
So do we!!
Great Article Bill!
It’s easy to forget that 95% of achieving goals is having the attitude and mindset to GO FOR IT!
