The Power and Danger of Beliefs – A Podcast

Home » The Power and Danger of Beliefs – A Podcast

My good friend and philanthropist, Paul Lowe, is the founder of the popular podcast series Speaking from our HEARTS, that aims to get inspirational messages and stories out to the world.

There are now over 100 clips in the podcast series. I am privileged to have been involved in two previous discussions with Paul about life purpose and human needs.

More recently Paul invited me back on the series for a discussion about beliefs.

“Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.”

All of Paul’s recorded discussions are intentionally unscripted and unedited so as to render them as authentic as possible for listeners.

I chose to be alone at home for the chat and blissfully unaware that my daughter had scheduled a couple of online shopping deliveries for that time. Needless to say, my normally placid dogs got thoroughly agitated at times, hardly doing wonders for my concentration and train of thought.

Fortunately, my own lapses were more than made up for by Paul’s sometimes graphic and always insightful peeks into what were in many ways traumatic yet character defining early years.

Join the podcast and find out why the words ‘power’ and ‘danger’ can be used in the same sentence when it comes to the beliefs we choose to hold.

Until the next post, stay healthy, motivated and above all – inspired!

I have just completed the Beliefs theory in the New Insights Skills Training module & this podcast was a wonderful way of reinforcing the theory. Thank You to Both of you, Bill & Paul, for making the theory come alive for me. I found the information educational and complementary to what I have been exploring personally this past year e.g. Satnam, it made so much sense to me. I enjoyed the battery analogy as well as I have been delving in the energy subject as well. I am truly just enjoying this course & have found more inspiration in the podcast series. A Hearty Thanks

Bill, this podcast is fantastic!. I wish it t had been available when I was a trainee. It brought the theory on beliefs to life in a very practical way and I highly recommend trainees and new life coaches take the time to listen. Nicely done, Bill.

Actually Bill, nope, it goes to you, How you handled the divergence off topic, the curveballs, the beliefs that came up, and how you managed to keep the conversation on track and focused on the topic was awesome to listen to. When you learn the theory on beliefs in training, it doesn’t quite prepare you for the reality of a coaching session which is more like herding cats than following a clearly demarcated path. I found the way you handled the divergence in this podcast very skilful. So kudos to you!

  4. As ever Bill, a true pleasure to converse and share our many, varied beliefs and experiences with each other

    With gratitude & love…
